Review of Dracula (1958) by Jon C — 10 Oct 2013
Christopher Lee just like Bela Lugosi before him owns the role of King of the Vampires.
He barely has any dialogue but manages to bring just as much pizzazz by not saying anything and lurking in the shadows.
This 1950's version of the book by Bram Stoker is more closer to the source material with having being a wealthy immortal look cool but also deadly.
And Peter Cushing as Van Helsing has a lot of class and sophistication being the vampire hunter.
This version is scary, bloody, sexy and quite the laughable treat.
