Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Allen A — 30 Nov 2012
A fantastic movie. If you weren't a kid during the cold war, it might be hard to understand the hyperdark satire. Sterling Hayden and George Scott are great as is Peter Sellers in his multiple roles.
Must be watched without commercial breaks. I would cut out the silly scene with Keenan Wynn, but the rest is perfect, non-stop, dark satire.
