Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Conner . — 07 Aug 2013
I sadly did not enjoy this movie. Personally, I do not think it's as funny as it thinks it is. Several of the jokes fall flat. At times the gags come off as being silly such as George C. Scott's character tripping over himself while he's walking backwards. I don't think "Dr. Strangelove" is as clever as it's cracked up to be. Comedy aside, I did not find the story or any of the characters engaging. I'm a fan of Kubrick, but I just did not like this movie.
