Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Jesus C — 29 Aug 2013
With the Cold War at its worst and the threat of a third World War only narrowly evaded, people were quite worried about the future. One man wasn't: He was Stanley Kubrick. He let us know that we while some told us to be strong in the face of terror, what we really should do is laugh.
This political satire is excellent, with great comedic acting, entertaining laughs, and a feel that still remains relevant even today.
