Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Chiek E — 26 Apr 2016
Absolute classic Kubrick...Doomsday scenario probably more acutely threatening during icy cold war era of the 60's. Considerably more believable with the communications backwardness then, and crack pots generals to doom the world.
. ... Serious message told in a funny way. The giant genius Peter Sellers gave legendary performances that carved a special place in my heart. . The rest of the cast were so funny too... especially seeing the buffet spread in the war room of the pentagon and the Russian ambassador taking sneak pictures with his miniature spy camera.
.. ha ha ha... so funny.... so funny....
