Review of Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972) by Simon T — 16 Aug 2018
Playing like an extended episode of The Avengers, and with a bonkers Vincent Price seemingly rehearsing his turn as Edward Lionheart in the following year's superior Theatre of Blood, this is Robert Fuest's camp sequel to The Abominable Dr Phibes.
It's fun and fairly watchable, but it completely runs out of steam (and script) long before the desert climax.
