This is an excellent start to the James Bond franchise.
Sean Connery is perfectly cast as 007.
The villain Dr. No is cool and it gets you interested in S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
Ursula Andress coming out of the water in her bikini was hot.
This is a Bond introduction that takes place in Jamaica only, has no fancy gadgets, doesn't yet have Q and not nearly as many big action sequences.
It is a more true to form spy film to simply introduce us to the character.
