Review of Dr. No (1962) by Min K — 28 Dec 2011
A solid start to the Bond franchise. Connery wears the role with such ease. This film is still pretty tame compared to some of its campier follow-ups, which makes it feel classier. The pace did seem to straggle along a bit, however.
The intrigue and the characters have yet to be fleshed out, but the score and the opening sequence are hints to the phenomenon to follow.
