This rating is more because it's the first of one of the greatest series ever made. It definitely is dated in a lot of areas but that being said, Connery laid the foundation here with his smoothness and cool demeanor and attitude.
Here he is in Jamaica looking for clues about the death of an agent and looking for Dr. No who is attempting to foil the US space program. Plot is kind of silly but the one liners are great and the first bond girl is sexy and has an iconic introduction.
