Fucking population control propaganda. Who wants to watch ANOTHER movie that's just about people getting shrunk down? We're already quite familiar with Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and Disney's Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

Alexander Payne fails to understand any of the political, economic and ethical flaws with downsizing people. If you're talking about downsizing despicable people such as portly Kim Jong-un or ISIS or Charlottesville Nazis then I would support that viewpoint on downsizing but this movie endorses downsizing our own friends and family! Downsizing people will NOT end wealth inequality, world famine and unequal distribution of resources. The top 1% and rich people virtually control our nations' wealth, shrinking down vast numbers of the population will only help rich people get even richer in comparison to how less competition they have for more resources or products and goods. Should you shrink down the population of your home country or their allies, then terrorists will have a bigger chance at world domination. Humans qualify as "ENDANGERED" by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. When you're tiny, you could get killed 1000 times more easily by hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods and tornadoes.

A LOT of certain groups of people are dying and going extinct from low birth rates to top that off, the Dutch, the Koreans, the Japanese, the Swiss, the Germans and the French aren't having enough children and they're sure to disappear if we don't do something. Why even introduce downsizing to the United States? Does Alexander Payne hate America or hold anti-American sentiment? It is not moral to hate the human race for having so high numbers, we just lowered the death rate too far, that's all. If Payne wanted to set this movie in China or India or Mexico, that'd be fine with me because yes I agree THOSE countries unlike the United States have way too many people for the country to provide sufficient resources! Payne chose the WRONG country for his movie! Payne could easily be accepted by ISIS to make anti-American propaganda movies.

I also hated Hong Chau's inclusion in this film, she can't speak eng-rish so well. I'm 20 years younger than her and I speak 100 million times more clearly than she does!
