Review of Downhill Racer (1969) by Matthew C — 30 Jul 2010
Walking, talking sleep medication Robert Redford shows his stuff by managing to make excessive speed boring in this drab 70s drama about an attempt by Americans to break into European ski success. It looks nice, but that only goes so far.
And then there's the lifeless romance with generic European woman Camilla Sparv. Unless you've got insomnia, you can probably skip this one.
