Review of Downfall (1997) by Nathan P — 25 Mar 2010
Downfall gives an in-depth and realistic overview of the final days Adolf Hitler spends in his Berlin Bunker along with the rest of the Nazi regime. Bruno Ganz plays Hitler's character with such emotion that Hitler represents a madman, who will not go down without a fight.
Hitler's character is so fascinating to watch in how he reacts to the downfall that his German nation is going under. It is truly an essential movie to see in order to understand the significant history that ties along with it.
The movie is done with such intensity that you can not simply sit back and just watch it. Watch it, and relive the history that was striking the ends of WWII.
