Review of Downfall (1997) by Raymond W — 21 Oct 2012
This is the best WWII movie ever filmed in my opinion. Bruno Ganz gives a bloody brilliant perfermance as a pathetic and weaken Furher, whose performance reminds us that there is evil in this world but that evil has a human face.
As for the rest of the cast, there is not one weak performance. Another thing is that this docudrama does not seem to deviate from history once and will certainly keep the audience on the edge of their seat long after the bunker scene.
