Review of Downfall (1997) by Joshua D — 03 Jan 2014
A frank and honest account of one of the darkest periods of human history, Downfall humanizes Hitler to such an extent you may find yourself sympathizing with him. Well scripted and despite its length well paced, this is an exceptional piece of film making anchored by a lifetime best performance from Bruno Ganz.
