Review of Down with Love (2003) by Settimio P — 25 Aug 2008
I had so much fun watching this! I was entertained by this take on classic romantic comedies, it seemed tongue in cheek, inventive and delightful. Zellweger seemed to find hard the balance between comedy and farce, although blessed by a script that would make a potato sound funny, McGregor may cut it as the ladies' man although his accent sounds as sexy as beans on toast.
My favourite character and actor was the incredible David Hyde Pierce, whom I think has the best supporting roles ever! a film that has proved worth watching again!
