Review of Down in the Valley (2005) by Mike D — 14 Nov 2007
I very much like westerns of all shapes and sizes let it be known. This pseudo-western or neo-western, whatever you prefer, has both assets and liabilities.
Every member of the cast is wonderful, Edward Norton especially. He has to work hard to impress me and he made an impact here.
The script seems solid but the execution seems too lengthly and drawn out in the second and third act.
