Classic jarmusch! expertly written, wonderfully shot (by the amazing rob muller). I love jarmusch's decision to abandon american cinema and its flashiness. jarmusch is an expert in bringing out the wonders of everyday lives in specific cities & he really brings out the underbelly of louisiana.
my only criticism is that sometimes the film relies too much on its names (waits, lurie) rather than good acting (adlibbing benigni).
