Review of Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986) by Kevin S — 09 Jan 2013
The whitemans are a rich but not very happy family. Dave whiteman makes coat hangers and his wife barbers and heavily into yoga and meditating. Their son has a problem and is confused about his sexuality.
Their daughter is anorexic does not eat. And there is Jerry who is homeless and lives on the street with his dog. When he wakes up and find out that his dog is gone he decides he has had enough. He tries to drown himself in the whitemans pool.
Dave saves him and then takes him in. Jerry ends up living with them and helps change their lifestyle. This is a good movie and pretty funny at times and is sometimes off the wall crazy. But it's all good.
