Review of Doubt (2009) by Jwee Chiek E — 20 Mar 2014
I feel immense regret and sadness while watching this film again because of Philip's recent departure. My soul was chilled to the core. His last sermon before leaving the Meryl Streep's parish was about the invisible wind behind us that moves us in life to different destinations we have no idea where and when.
The wind behind Philip has taken away his life and away from us. I grief for him when I see his brilliance on screen. And his role as Father Brendan Flynn is the most magnificent. He preached the messages of love and compassion and tolerance and the evil of gossip and slander.
Those who love this man would embrace his messages.
