Review of Doubt (2008) by Ryan B — 19 May 2012
There's no doubt that the acting is amazing. Ms. Davis' 7 minutes of screen time might be well worth the cost of the film. However, the one thing that the film can't overcome is the fact that it just doesn't translate well on the big screen.
This is a wonderful play and while supposedly this leaves you in doubt, there are cues during the movie that explicitly shows that Father Flynn was doing his "FATHERLY" duties,.
