Review of Doubt (2008) by Gabriel D — 25 Jan 2013
This is a masterpiece, a powerhouse of acting, and its own fascinating, endlessly detailed film. It's a pleasure to look at with gorgeous cinematography and visual flair that makes a '60's parish feel like a real environment.
It features what is probably my favorite performance by Meryl Streep, the only instance when I have felt like the character shined through Streep showing off in a long time.
