Review of Doubt (2008) by Suphasit A — 24 Feb 2013
The cast is excellent in this drama about the Catholic Church. Quite frankly, no one in this cast has ever really given a bad performance, and they are all quite good here. Streep is a strict and conservative nun and principal who is convinced that their Priest has committed pedophilia on the one black child in their parish and school.
Whether or not the act happened or not is never once stated, which is a nice touch, as it leaves the viewer with as much doubt as some of the characters. Great film.
