Review of Double Jeopardy (1999) by Marc H — 15 May 2008
Yeah! Like this one - always have done. My dad rang me one evening having watched it on Sky and recommended I do the same (he did that VERY rarely!)...so I did, though I never saw it again until today.
Judd plays the beautiful wife of Nicholas Parsons (no...NOT that one!) and has a seemingly idyllic marriage - rich hubby, nice home, one cute kid. However, nasty Nick is clearly more committed to screwing the nanny so frames poor wifey for his own murder - and succeeds, relocating with said nanny, $2m insurance and cute kid to boot. Wifey is not impressed - patiently serves her time and then the action starts as she tracks down hubby with the aid of some detective work and Kandinsky.
Good movie without overtaxing any mind.
