Review of Double Indemnity (1973) by Neil O — 28 Apr 2011
This is a classic film noir and one of the greatest of American films ever made. Director Billy Wilder and writer Raymond Chandler adapted this James M. Cain novel into a thrilling story of insurance man Walter Neff (MacMurray), who schemes the perfect murder with married Barbara Stanwyck to make off with the insurance money.
Edward G Robinson very nearly outshnes MacMurray and Stanwick. Do not miss this one!
