Review of Double Indemnity (1973) by Zack M — 02 Oct 2011
It's hard to denounce a film whose impact has been felt for generations after it. You can see hints in Kiss Me Deadly, Touch of Evil, and even into the 70's with Chinatown, this is a well-deserved classic.
Now, 65 years later, it was still able to thrill me and offer a noir experience that felt fresh and energetic. Thanks to the script and the plot development this was as satisfying as it was suave. I'm glad I was finally able to catch up with this pivotal film.
