Fred MacMurray playing a sleazy insurance agent. When Barbara Stanwyck struts down the stair case with her ankle bracelet swinging away you know that MacMurray is in way over his head. One of my favorite movies of all time.
Check out all of Billy Wilder's stuff. His movies are literate, witty and edgy enough to keep the audience interested.
