Review of Double Indemnity (1944) by Jonathon B — 18 Feb 2012
Double Indemnity is a superb film-noir classic about an insurance salesman who gets caught in the web of the seductive wife of a rich man, whom she wants dead. The salesman agrees to the horrifying idea which is a success, but all is not well when their lives start to fall apart and they turn on each other.
It's a fascinating and engrossing film thanks to superb writing and performances.
