Review of Double Indemnity (1944) by Alexandre L — 19 Mar 2010
Maybe the best Film-Noir of all-time. Many suspenseful moments keep the viewer on the edge of his seat from start to finish. Avoid the 1973 remake at all costs. Richard Crenna and Samantha Eggar are awful at trying to re-create the sexual tension between Fred MacMurray and Barbra Stanwyck.
