This movie was great. The costumes were great. For a Japanese film, the CGI was good. I see some whining about the CGI being bad, but for someone like me, who has watched a lot of Japanese Tokusatsu, and movie, I've noticed that the Japanese don't really care if CGI is good, or not.
They really only use it if they have to. I mean come on they still have an actor get into a monster costume, and all that. They don't waste 200 million dollars (US) on CGI (This movie's budget was about the equivalent of 17 million US dollars.
) The story is a little weird, but I completely got it. The acting was good. I can't wait for Dororo 2 and 3, which are currently being made, and are suppose to come out in 2008 and 2009.
