This forward-thinking indie deserves a look...not because its quality is super-high, but its nobility is rarely lacking. Not that the quality is completely absent; the style is strong and the humor is often presciently smart.
It gets too plotty and some of the themes are confused (does it glamorize or condemn the system it is bucking?), but the refreshing uniqueness of the storytelling and the important characterizations are more than enough to carry through.
