I was never excited about seeing this; just curious. I like Neil Marshall's films, but I'm just not sure about this one. A bit of gore here and there and fullof action, not to mention I loved the medieval community. And of course, all of Scotland--the forest and valley scenes were beautiful.

But where is the story and footage of the virus? That, is what I really wanted to see. We see the aftermath of it, but not the virus itself. More like, mankind had become a virus. The urban community was interesting but to be honest it just annoyed me. "Sol" was just a wanna-be tribal-punk with a bad flare of temper-tantrums. Why did it take so long to get rid of him?

His girlfriend never had one word to say, and I knew she wouldn't last long. Save the facial tattoos for the beautiful women of the Amazon, and the Mayan, Incan, and Aztec tribes. Now that's real culture.
