Review of Don't Look Up (2021) by Nano5922 — 24 Dec 2021
In a way, it is an interesting political satire and black comedy, but it seems to have forcibly increased the common SNL short story. Acting also has no significant charm or weight except for the main characters Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.
However, as a simple disaster comedy movie, the completeness is rather fine. Adam McKay's comedy directing and sense are alive, and the supporting actors may be wasteful, but the acting and Jennifer Lawrence were as good as the main characters DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.
The problem is that the satire's method is obvious and shallow, but camera work and editing are colorful, and cross-editing with twisted time lines also reduced boredom as a fun factor. It can be said that the completeness as a genre movie is good.
