Review of Don't Look Now (1936) by Jonathan K — 14 Oct 2007
Heartbreaking, Don't Look Now is both superbly constructed and achingly acted, boasting subtle, layered performances. Whilst watching, it made me realise that we have lost a sub-genre of horror, the classy horror, with the likes of this and The Shining.
Horror films are only made by horror directors now, and most of the time these people are cinematic idiots.
