Review of Don't Look Now (1936) by Iowa B — 04 Jan 2013
It is challenging and a very drawn out affair but the build up has purpose and the direction and story is bold. A British film that is heavily influenced by Giallo and while you may well think that this is just about grief, come an Earth shattering finale (worth every second of build-up), you find that this is a psychologically intense journey.
A journey about grief, warning, death and paradise falling into chaos. It may not be gripping from start to finish but it is bold British filmmaking, even more so today!
