Review of Don't Breathe (2016) by Brad Y — 30 Jul 2017
Don't Breathe is a suspenseful tightly-made home invasion thriller that uses its single location exceedingly well. Every detail shown on screen comes into play at one point or another. The war veteran's blindness is played with inventively in ways that make the film stand out as a refreshing experience compared to others in the genre.
I feel like this is what Hush attempted to do, but luckily Don't Breathe delivers in spades.
