Review of Don't Breathe (2016) by Matthew G — 31 Oct 2016
Don't Breathe reminds the audience how to grip hard on their seat while watching such credibly horrifying scenes as this movie convey. Director Alvarez knows how to throw gimmicks with the use of some fun twists-and-turns so abrupt, so suspenseful that seemingly makes it harder for the viewers to also breathe normally while watching the characters struggle for their survival.
The film has some tiny flaws but not sufficient enough to hinder the effectiveness of the story. Don't Breathe climbs up its way to be a memorable home invasion horror film experience. A modern classic horror this film will be, because why not?
