Fede Flvarez well-crafted, highly suspenseful, relentless, claustrophobic thriller. It concerns three Detroit teen thieves who learn about a recently settled wrongful death award of $300,000 dollars that was given because of the car accident death of the daughter of an old blind man, played brilliantly and with a chilling conviction by Stephen Lang.

The teens played superbly by Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, and Daniel Zovatto, decide to rob the blind man's house believing the money is there, and thinking it will be no problem at all. But little do they now of the blind man's lethal capabilities, and that he is a war veteran.

Well what started as a easy target has turned into deadly cat and mouse struggle to survive. Masterful direction by Alvarez, who keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout entire length of this gripping horror story.

Stunning cinematography by Pedro Luque, and an amazing original score by Roque Banos. One of the year's finest films and the best thrillers in years, Highly recommended.
