Review of Don's Party (1976) by Lee M — 05 Dec 2007
Don's Party shows that the most culturally specific of films can have universal appeal: it's a by all accounts very accurate portrayal of a certain time and place, but we can still recognize the attitudes and people.
It's a key film of the Australian film revival of the 1970s, and it's still fresh and funny to this day.
