Review of Donnie Brasco (1997) by Dustin D — 11 Jan 2010
Al Pacino and Johnny Depp team up for a unlikely ride. Depp an FBI agent undercover is set out to take down a mob (Al Pacino) when he finds himself in a friendship he cannot ignore. Depp delivers a faithful performance that took him from heights to new heights, Pacino delivers a tremendous supporting (and leading) role in this film, making it one of few gangster films I can watch more then once.
Solid, entertaining, and possibly emotional through the eyes of Donnie Brasco.
