Review of Donkey Punch (2008) by Jim T — 08 Nov 2008
Impressive british horror film along the same lines as Very Bad Things only not played for laughs. A group of girls on holiday meet up with a group of lads and join them aboard a yacht for what turns into an orgy of sex and drugs.
Things go very wrong when as one of the lads performs a Donkey punch on one of the girls (punching a girl in the back of the neck as you are about to orgasm causing a muscle spasm) killing her instantly.
In a bid to try and cover it up the men dump the body over board and set about trying to decide how best to keep the girls quiet. from then on the film errupts into violence as everyone starts killing everyone else in an effort to either escape or keep things quiet.
The are some inventive death sequences and the tension is played out pretty well. I liked the way that you are never really sure who will live and who will die. The moral of this movie I guess would be dont trust your friends if one of them accidentally kills a girl during sex, and definatly hide the outboard motor!
