Review of Don Quixote (1992) by Carrie L — 10 Nov 2008
If you see this at your local independent movie rental store or on Netflix, run. Unfortunately, Mr. Welles died before he finished it, or made any notes as to his thoughts on its composition. Some poor hack inherited the yards of celluloid and plunked it together.
The voice overs are terrible and you have to look long and hard for any striking imagery that you would expect. Hopefully someone someday will get hold of the original material and do something wonderful with it.
