Review of Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist (2005) by Tim B — 15 Jul 2007

This was quite a good film really. It doesn't have the terror of the original or the fear of the third film but it is a lot better than the awful confusing second and the shallow prequel. This is very different to the other prequel and far better. It actually has depth and is not stupid at all. Time should not be wasted seeing the other version of this film instead viewers should watch this one. It could have been more terrifying and I was a little disappointed with the lack of fear but the whole film plays so well, aside from a few dodgy computer effects, that it doesn't need to be petrifying. This is more a scary film because of the religious angle and the loss of faith. I still enjoyed it.

In one word: Good.
