Review of Dolphin Tale (2011) by Josh N — 29 Oct 2012
This is an amazing must see movie based on a true story, about a little boy named Sawyer Nelson played by Nathan Gamble. Who makes an unbelievable connection with a very special dolphin named Winter. Winter loses her tail due to an injury caused by a crab trap. Because of her injury she cannot swim properly. Sawyer comes up with a brilliant plan to help fix Winter's tail. Does it work! Go see this movie for yourself to find out.
I have so many favorite parts in this movie I cannot name them all, but the parts I like the most are. When Sawyer played by Nathan Gamble takes his mom Lorraine Nelson played by Ashley Judd to the Clearwater Marine Animal Hospital, and she sees the passion and excitement on his face.
Also when Sawyer tries to teach Hazel Haskett played by Cozi Zuehlsdorff to fly the electric helicopter, and it flies out of control. Now that was funny! And finally when Sawyer gets Winter to drink form the bottle for the first time. I was so happy.
I truly loved all the characters in this movie.
Dr. McCarthy played by Morgan Freeman did a Terrific job.
Dr. Clay Haskett played by Harry Connick Jr. did an outstanding job.
Lorraine Nelson played by Ashely Judd was a very supportive mom. Just like my mom.
Sawyer Nelson played by Nathan Gamble was simply brilliant.
Hazel Haskett played by Cozi Zuechlsdorff was amazing, and quite talkative. But of course Winter was the the real star in this movie.
I rate this movie 5 out of 5 stars because it is very inspiring, and I recommend this movie to everyone, because it's a great family move about one of my favorite sea mammals.
I would like to thank everyone at Studio Movie Grill for allowing me to see another great movie at their beautiful theater.
