I have watched this movie so many times I can't even count and I love it. It's family friendly and not over-the-top (though some scenes are a little cliche and cheesy). If you want a heart-warming family-friendly movie with a more realistic approach of human relationships to animals, this is great.

If you have no interest in family values and can't stand cliches and predictability, this movie may annoy you, but for me, it is exactly what I needed and wanted in a movie for my family. I love it.

I find it the predictability and cliches in this particular movie comfortable and familiar, not annoying...perhaps that's because I'm so sick of watching violent, epic, long-winded movies. The simplicity of this movie is fresh and a much-needed relief from all the junk that is out there.
