Review of Dolphin Tale 2 (2014) by Thumbz — 12 Sep 2014
It literally hurt to watch this movie. Painfully irrelevant dialogue that does nothing to add to or move the the story. Teenage love interest scenes completely artificial. Overacting across the board mixed with lack of any engagement by the players.
Strange repeat shots of the hoist mechanism chain, and later of Ashley Judd's impossibly full plate of prawns. Attempts at dramatic moments create laugh-out-loud absurdity. Best part of the movie is that, no matter how slow the crawl may be, it does finally end, the few brief appearances by the indomitable Morgan Freeman, and the raw rescue footage shown at credits.
Best to wait until the movie streams, and then don't watch it then, either.
