Review of Dolores Claiborne (1995) by Russ S — 23 Sep 2007
Though I miss two major things from the book--the experience of having an unreliable narrator, and the passages where Vera goes insane and perhaps takes Dolores along--this is probably one of the only ways the book could have been done justice.
The performances really carry it, and the location photography is beautiful. Also, props to a really young Ellen Muth in the flashback scenes.
