Review of Dolittle (2020) by Keithdow — 24 Jan 2020
There are myriad occasions throughout 'Dolittle' in which Robert Downey’s eyes seem to glaze over with apathy and boredom as he “interacts” with the green screen animals. There are twice as many occasions in which the audience's eyes undoubtedly do the same.
Between 1967's 'Doctor Dolittle,' 1998's 'Dr. Dolittle' starring Eddie Murphy, and now Robert Downey Jr.'s 'Dolittle,' this most recent version is easily the worst of the lot.
