Review of Dogville (2003) by Timothy D — 10 Sep 2009
Stunning.
Experimental but with a fantastic story.
A bizarre journey into the shadows of human thoughts and instincts.
Actor direction, performance and cast can't be better.
The set design and cinematography are mindblowing.
And finally the ice-cream on the cake is the OST wich fits perfectly.
I could not watch Dancer in The Dark cause the real environnement (And Catherine Deneuve as a workster) made me hook off so Dogville is Lars Von Trier's "chef-d'oeuvre" for me.
