Review of Dogville (2003) by Shoaib H — 03 Mar 2012
Von Trier keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout the film, despite their being nothing but the story and the viewer's imagination. It only aids to see the story of the characters in a deeper sense and understand the pains which Grace suffers.
Although graphic, it depicts the nature of man perfectly and portrays a unique message often lacking in the movie industry today. It has a message which will renovate with anyone with the slightest of empathy and imagination.
The BEST film I have ever seen.
