Review of Dogville (2003) by Cody Y — 11 Apr 2013
Nicole Kidman is mesmerizing. The entire cast is superb and Paul Bettany is rather brilliant in a role that could have been quite annoying or quite evil. The film builds like a tropical storm and the last chapter is indeed destructive and cathartic.
My favorite scenes are those shared by Nicole and James Caan.
